Hi there @anurangacse thanks so much for your feedback. At the current time, these guides are for running on Linux only, and ideally latest stable Ubuntu. Also, we don't support ARM architecture so you may have trouble on your Mac.

Good question. These quick start storage requirements are not excessive as we are running mock provers so you should be able to spin this up on a personal laptop. Let us know if you have any problems.

Hi @JacksonRGB yes, in this quickstart the prover is mock. Spinning up a CDK with a full prover requires a lot of resources and a great deal of disk space so for our purposes here a mock prover is sufficient.

To find out more about the prover tech you could have a look at the zkEVM docs https://docs.polygon.technology/zkEVM/architecture/zkprover/ which describe the foundation of CDK prover systems and there is a guide which takes you through a zkEVM roll up deployment with full prover here: https://docs.polygon.technology/zkEVM/get-started/deploy-zkevm/. (We are currently in the process of updating this..).

Hi @JacksonRGB thanks for your question.

The doc you are following is a pre-built quick start guide to spin up a CDK validium and it is managed by a third-party: https://github.com/Snapchain/zkValidium-quickstart. The components they use are very specific versions and I understand they are currently updating to more recent versions. So anything that you discover while playing around with this demo is not necessarily representative of the full CDK stack.

If you would like deeper information on how to configure a zkEVM node, I would recommend you join the Polygon Discord https://discord.com/invite/XvpHAxZ and ask some of the devs there, but they would not be able to assist with questions about this particular set up.

I used the make run command to start all programs, but in the browser localhost, I did not see blocks being generated. Why?

Hi, did you send a transaction and test the bridge yet? When there are some transactions, the system can start to generate blocks.

I have successfully deployed CDK Validium but i can't have my POL as i imported account with secret Key you shared. Did i missed something? If not Please can you shared any alternative to get token apart importing secret key you provided so that i can test.

Hey @papouso did you clear all Docker images and containers and do a rerun, it can sometimes be because of that.
