For classes with multiple sections, there is a gradient from title to instructor to sections. This doesn't seem to show up for classes with only one section (picture attached for reference). Thanks!

There is a gradient regardless of the number of sections, but when you pin a section, the color of the pinned section and instructor matches that of the course. (So in your case, there is no gradient as the only section is pinned.)
I see this can be quite confusing, and I am open for ideas to make the course-instructor-section hierarchy more user-friendly!
Oh, I see that now! I guess one way to resolve it would be to use some sort of outline or subtle pattern on the ones selected. You could also maybe italicize the fonts of the ones selected or include a label or something. I played around with these in Figma a bit. Let me know what you think!
I appreciate the mockups! I think the second option might be a bit hard to notice that it is selected. I like the third one, and I think combining with the second one would be even better. I'll reflect this when I update next. Thanks!
