How do I upgrade my Distrobox installation? My installed version is 1.4.2.1 and I think this is quite outdated now. |

Is this too trivial or too complicated or why is it so silent here? Googling for distrobox upgrade finds me lots of infos for upgrading containers, but not for upgrading distrobox itself. |

Finally I found the answer here https://github.com/89luca89/distrobox?tab=readme-ov-file#upgrading and there https://distrobox.it/#upgrading sorry for the noise. Maybe that topic in the documentation should be marked in such a way that it shows up also in the table of contents, where it is currently hidden under the topic "Installation->Alternative methods". I would never expect a remark on Upgrading under methods for an alternative installation and would have found the solution much earlier. |
