External Links Opening in the Same Tab Instead of a New Tab In the projects page and the Gsoc links in the apply page

Description:

1 ) The website currently has several active projects on the project page . However, when these cards are clicked, the links open in the same browser tab instead of opening in a new tab. This behaviour can disrupt the user experience as it navigates away from the website.

2. The website currently has links to Gsoc pages of 2024 in the apply page . However, when the link for the website is clicked , the links open in the same browser tab instead of opening in a new tab. This behaviour can disrupt the user experience as it navigates away from the website.

Expected Behaviour:

1)Each external card of each project should open in a new browser tab to ensure that users can easily return to the website after visiting the external sites.
2) The links to Gsoc docs should open in a new browser tab to ensure that users can easily return to the website after visiting the external sites.

Steps to Reproduce:

Visit the website.
1)Click on the project cards , see the behaviour and change it .
2) Go to the apply page, scroll down and click on the Gsoc links and see the current behaviour and change it

I would like to work on this issue and implement the necessary changes to ensure that the projects should open in a new tab

I am solving this issue
