Poll: Default image resolution slider step size

Stable Diffusion enables users to generate images at resolutions that are multiples of 8.
Currently, the image resolution slider's step size is set to 8, aligning with the default setting.
However, due to various reasons, some users may prefer a larger step size of 64.
Therefore, we would like to gather feedback on whether the default step size should be set to 8 or 64.

If the slider step size is set to 64, it does not mean that the ability to generate images at multiples of 8 is removed.
Users can still directly type in the desired resolution or adjust the slider configuration according to their preferences.
If users wish to modify the slider step size, they can edit the ui-config.json file.
Below is an example of how the relevant configuration can be done by editing ui-config.json

Considering that it has been set to 8 for a while, it does not seem necessary to modify it. Whichever you choose, it looks like some people will need to change it.

imo it might be worth making this a setting so that other extensions could easily check what the user's preference for this are, and modify their sliders accordingly. Also makes it a bit more discoverable than having to manually change a .json file.

Is how the UI config is read/written to currently preventing this?

You can type any value you like in to each field

Check your output resolution. Internally it gets floored to something divisible by 8. It's a limitation of the model. #4978 (comment)

In fairness I have no issue with it being set to a multiple of 8 , makes perfect sense and ties in with a lot of other things on PCs,
