Guys! HELP ME! THE GAME HAS UPDATED, IS AIMTUX DETECTED?!?!?!?

Just because the game updated, does NOT mean the cheat is detected. Read below. You CANNOT get a VAC ban for this cheat, because as of December 2016, there is NO VAC on Linux.

There may be circumstances where a developer will need to update bone ID's and potentially other things, but unless you read somewhere "Valve bring VAC to Linux!" via some news source or Valve themselves, AimTux will NOT be detected, and from an injection / code manipulation side of things, will ALWAYS be safe to use until that day.

This does NOT mean you cannot receive an Overwatch ban. Overwatch works COMPLETELY different from VAC and is based on reports you receive in-game. You will only receive an Overwatch ban if YOU are an idiot.

Can I get VAC banned for using this cheat?

No, but use this cheat at your own risk.

Can I get Overwatch banned for using this cheat?

Yes, The best way to avoid this is to queue with people you know won't report you, and play 2 games on an account in a 24 hour period, or try and hide it. An easy way to hide your hacks is to turn ON vis check in the visuals settings, this will hide all enemies until you can see them.

Can I share and download configs?

Yes, they're stored at ~/.config/AimTux.
