Hello and hope to be well. I am try to set up a project to make my Alexa Eco Dot communicate with my S7 1200 PLC through a ESP8266 module. I try to set up a smart home scenario. The home automation based in this PLC and I want with Alexa enable some outputs for light and motors. I try Settimino alone and works fine. I can read from PLC and write to it. I try Espalexa alone and everything works fine. But when i try to marry these two my Alexa Eco Dot cant find any device. The device is active as i can see it through the http://[yourEspIP]/espalexa but Alexa Eco Dot inform me that cant find any device.PLC communication works fine. I will post the code down here. In the code i erase ssid and password for obvious reasons. Every help is welcome.

Hello Honestly I have not been able to test your code but I share the one I did.
But it has too many problems:

  • Only devices 0,2,3 work, the rest give an error.
  • They cannot be configured as onoff devices, some are configured as dimmable and some dimmable with color.
  • With esp32 Alexa does not detect any device, but in esp8266 it works quite well and for 2 days it did not hang. With the WeMO library I haven't been able to get it to work for more than...some 20 hours.
I hope it helps you and also tell me if you have had any progress.
    Greetings
