[Crash]: Closing the recipe GUI with 'e' or escape sometimes crashes the game.

What happened?

While looking at recipes (usually while in inventories) exiting the GUI will crash the game. This latest batch from tonight has been while using a slab crafting station next to a sophisticated storage netherite chest with two netherite capacity upgrades while looking at the different powah recipes. When closing out of the recipes gui it freezes a moment, saves the game, and closes the minecraft window.

Hi I was having the same issue as you, and I saw a mention in another issue about connected function blocks. If you move the station away from other interfacable blocks, it should resolve

I apologize for the late response, got hit by hurricane Helene and am only now back online. Also sorry that my reply is a question. Are chests interfacable blocks? If so, it probably does but that's a huge hiccup to how I currently do mass crafting, will adjust. If chests are not, then I have noticed the problem with a few machines, but I'll have to check which ones since I've been offline for so long that I don't remember. My main issue arises with the station and chests though.

Well its a mainly a JEI problem, I am not sure if its fixed yet. Also hope you're doing okay!
