Issues with location upload of Timelapse videos / startrails / keograms etc.. #4077
-
Hi Experts! I have installed some time ago the allsky on my Raspberry Pi and used FTP to connect it to the website https://astrovirgo.com/allsky/ Version: v2023.05.01_04 my current ftp-settings left blank intentionally cause whatever I tried so far seems to break the postData.sh when testing.
I already tried what was mentioned on this thread #3409 (comment) Also tried to generate daily and it was complaining about the thumbnail folder not created on the web location, which seems it's is taking it in the directory of the main location as seen in this picture to get it to work without error but that ends up as blank on the Web UI page cause it points to /videos folder (https://astrovirgo.com/allsky/videos/) Locally on the Pi my subdirectory example of a daily folder that gets created consists as such and it has the subdirectories in it for keogram, thumbnails, startrails Any idea what can be done to have the uploads pointing to the correct location on the web without breaking down? |

Hello @EricClaeys , thanks for your reply. and was able to see the website loading images and the menus / info I then wanted to test test the timelapse and seems it uploaded to the correct directory this time when I generated for the day. Many thanks for the tip to update! |

@prodromos, glad you got it working and it resolved your problems. FYI, for ZWO cameras we suggest turning OFF auto-gain but leaving auto-exposure on. Eric |

@prodromos,
I suggest upgrading to the newest Allsky release on your Pi and the remote Website. The way it handles Websites is significantly easier and it should resolve your problems.
