No Timelapses generated. Wiki is outdated and incorrect.

Hi .. I tried to figure out why I am getting no timelapse videos after 01-16-2025. I have dozens that have been dutifully done and they just suddenly stopped on that date. Keograms and star trails are still being done. But no video.

I checked the wiki and went to troubleshooting and timelapse and the first thing it says is to check a field in the WebUI settings that is actually no longer there.. There is NO setting for "Generate" anything in the AllSky settings under Daytime, Night Time or settings for both day and night. None of the other few things in the wiki are helpful.

So how can I figure out why there is no timelapse generated? I dont have any instructions for getting to the logs any more but can search for related discussions I guess...

If anyone has had this happen I would be interested in knowing you it was resolved.

The Wiki documentation is always for the newest release of Allsky. The "Documentation" link in the WebUI is for the release you are running, and is what you should be looking at.

Hi Eric,
I did a generateForDay and it made the one for the 29th and then I did an upload for the date of the 29th... and ALL of the timelapses went up.. .It had stopped at Jan 16 and now every timelapse is now up there for every day SINCE Jan16... so for some reason ALL of them are now there...

I wonder why?

What version of Allsky?

Did you run generateForDay.sh --timelapse --upload 20250129 to upload the timelapse for the 29th?
If not, what was the exact command you ran?

Log into the server and look at the timestamp of all the timelapse files starting Jan 16. Are the times the same, give or take several seconds?

Looking at the code, I don't see how it could upload more than one file. It calls upload.sh to upload the file, and upload.sh only uploads one file.
