This Wiki provides tips for installing, configuring and running the AllSky software, including describing what various features (overlays, keogram,...) are and how to troubleshoot and fix problems.

This Wiki and all other AllSky documentation assume you use the Web User Interface (WebUI) to configure Allsky. The WebUI, which is the allsky-portal package, makes changing setting much easier, and allows automatic error checking and other "behind the scenes" events to happen. If you don't have it installed you will need to manually determine what variables to change and then manually update the configuration files.
Or better yet, just install the WebUI.

Issues

We prefer that you not change any of the *.cpp, *.sh, or *.php source files; instead, if you find a problem please read wiki/Reporting-Issues and try to find a similar issue. If nothing is found create an new Issue. Don't forget to close resolved issues
