Hi I have been experimenting with linux-wallpaperengine along with other background changers. after killing linux-wallpaperengine if I try to use something like feh to set a simple image per say ie get the error X connection to :0 broken (explicit kill or server shutdown).
This might be a dumb question but is there any way to stop linux-wallpaper engine without killing the X connection? since the only solution i have found so far is to completely restart the display manager and I would prefer not to do that if possible.
Thanks for your help ahead of time.
