[Feature request] rescanning folders #225
Comments
I think it should already be rescanning once every twenty four hours, I'll take a look at it. Do you only have one folder, multiple folders, any wallpapers? |
I had this issue a few months ago, switched to Wall You and wanted to try it again now. I haven't waited for 24 yet. Now I have selected a test folder containing one image. I closed the app and added a second image. If I see the second image tomorrow, I will let you know. However, I would still like it to scan more often or have the option to set the interval myself. Thanks for your work |
Yes I can implement that |
I had a wallpaperchange interval of 15 minutes set up for the test folder. It has been well over 24 hours and the wallpaper hasn't changed |
Ok I'll take a look. Thank you |
Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.
I am looking for a wallpaper app to change my local wallpapers. Paperize works great. However, I automatically add new wallpapers to the folder. Those are not picked up by the app unless, I restart it.
Describe the solution you'd like
Rescan the library or the used folder each time, before the wallpaper is changed. As reloading the entire library may be inefficient for large amounts of wallpapers (I have only 10-20), I think there should be a setting to turn it off/on.
Describe alternatives you've considered
I've used WallYou, which works fine. However, I don't like the online features in it.
