With new WLAN-Controller Firmware the support for local access has been changed.
Please add support to connect locally to Daikin air conditioners, specifically those running firmware version 2.8.0.
Not all users want to use Daikin Cloud Service.

This has been done for Home Assistant already, please add it to ioBroker also.

@rug1024 Did you upgraded your wifi module or is this a new device with the "old" wifi module and new Firmware?

Hi! I currently use the 2 Wifi-Modules Type BRP069B41 in combination with this ioBroker-Adapter.
Never upgraded the firmware so it still works locally (LAN), but performance is really bad, devices are often unreachable, and other issues...
So I thought about upgrading firmware, but do not want to use Daikin-Cloud.
Alternative is selling the Daikin-WLAN-Modules and switch to Faikin, which would probably be the best way to go.

... and the expectation is that the new Version 2.8.0 makes this better?

My intention, when opening this issue, was to ask if this ioBroker-Adapter can be made useful to all users who already updated their WLAN-controller-firmware. As I won't have any added value of this improvement, likely many others will and ioBroker can gain a new feature which HomeAssistant already has. Thanks!
