I have the same problem sadly (it doesn't occur with ctrl+tab). ALso, it seems to only expand if you're in the middle or end of a word, but the moment you go after a whitespace or bracket/punctuation followed by more of the same, the expansion doesn't work. Other than that, it is still so helpful!

We found a temporary fix to the "Space and Tab not working" in issue #47 , if that can help anyone
