Set a different pair of pins for INPUT_CAPTURE_PIN and OUTPUT_COMPARE_A_PIN

Hi all,
So currently, I'm using the Atmega2560 on Arduino Mega, I would like to reconfig the pair of INPUT_CAPTURE_PIN and OUTPUT_COMPARE_A_PIN pins from 48, 46 to 18,19 respectively to use the hardware serial 1. Though I've changed the #Define commands in AltSoftSerial_Boards.h and P1P2Serial.cpp but it seems like the library doesn't accept other pairs but the initial ones.

Any suggestions? Thanks

Sorry, you cannot use hardware serial pins when using the P1P2MQTT library, which relies on other circuitry in the ATmega. To change anything, you would need to dive deep into the ATmega documetation. Also, it is a long time ago since I tested the library on a Mega2560 so it may no longer work.

Thank you, I am having the bus collision issue when communicating with another Modbus RTU that using software serial, thought I can have a try with connecting the bridge with hardware serial. Thanks for your help!
