DeepL monthly plan +dev tools extension / DeepL rapid text skip?

Hi 2 questions:

1. For the DeepL dev tools extension via chrome, how do we connect a paid plan account to bypass the translation limit we pay for on our account? Or once we login deepl with a pro plan, do we just use devtools extension as normal?

2. When using deepL, how do we skip text rapidly without having to translate every line? When we use Bing translate, if the text skips too fast (like speed reading in a game) it will skip over that text and instead just wait until we stop onto a new line to translate. DeepL just translates everything and I have to wait for the translation to catch up to the line that I stopped at

Lastly, is there a way to reduce the delay in translation? I"m wondering what the rate limit options do...

1. Yeah login on chrome to your pro account then just use as normal.
2. Set enable limit selected text thread and set token count to 1 before skipping. Or you can even leave it at 2-3 but I'd advise lowering the token restore delay to 5000 or so if you do. Maybe I'll make that the default in the future.
3. Basically Textractor attempts to throttle itself based on the rate limiter options to help you not get banned from the translation service. It only makes token count translation requests in a token restore delay millisecond timespan. Any more and it won't make the request.

If you wonder why those options have such a strange description, at the time I added the rate limiter I was just trying to implement a token bucket while I didn't understand the algorithm well enough to explain it.

I'm unfamiliar with this kind of terminology, but I assume token means how many times we wish to translate a given line? So if we gather too many tokens within a small amount of time (10 ms versus 30000 ms), then it will try to attempt tons of translations super fast, which would result in a ban from the system?

If I am wrong, please educate me as to how this works, I would greatly appreciate it :)

Just ignore the whole token terminology. Textractor doesn't even have a true token bucket algorithm, it's somewhat different so you can ignore that wikipedia page.

The actual rate limiter algorithm is simple: in any token restore delay timespan Textractor will only make token count translation requests. Any more and it give you the "Rate limit exceeded: refuse to make more translation requests" error message.

Hmm, I think I understand now, and after making the token count shorter it helps. Now the only problem I have is trying to make DeepL devtools translate faster. Compared to yandex/bing, deepL has a significantly longer delay in translating. Is there a way we can speed it up? Or at least potentially in a future update we can expect such?
