I have 3 Sparkfun AST-CAN485 board deployed in a solution to my customers. They had the firmwares corrupted after about 3 weeks of usage.

The firmware in the board interfaces a 3 axis joystick converting movements to Pelco-D packets in the 485 line. The board raw pin is connected to a 12.05 VDC Siemens power supply connected to a Inverter connected to a car battery on a running vehicle (car). I have a relay switch the turns on/off the 12 vdc line.
It was working for about 3 weeks and suddenly stopped. The AST-CAN85 firmware and its boot loader becomes corrupted.

Someone knows what can be happened?

Attached my diagram of the board and joystick.

Hi Omarachrafbrasil,

I'm currently having sort of the same issue. Using a car battery to supply RAW voltage input, after a while, the firmware gets corrupted. (seems an EEprom corroption).
Did you eventually find the issue with the board/setup?
