The "Barkeep" probably shouldn't be the only person able to access Eastwood's bar #386
Comments
The food processor (i.e, chopping block) is craftable as far as I'm aware. |
I don't see why barkeep slots invalidate me wanting non-barkeeps being able to access the kitchen... |
Hotel got a kitchen, a farmer shall go there to cook, and not disturb the bartender place. Previous town map had free acces bar. Oh it was a catastrophie. If the kitchen lack the equipement, maybe its better to just upgrade the kitchen and not open the bar to everyone. If a farmer can't acces the hotel's kitchen, they ain't a citizen, why should they even go to town to cook in the first place. |
I would argue the hotel kitchen's moot, because nobody ever goes there |
The Mayor, The Provost Marshal and the Barkeeper can access the bar, why should a farmer be able to access the bar? |
Because the bar is also the kitchen, and the farmer makes ingredients for food. As things are, if the Farmer wants to get a kitchen setup, they need metal, wood, and bone just to make the ghetto versions of everything - and that leaves them with a campfire grill that takes a random amount of time to cook anything & can burn shit if you don't take it off within five seconds of being cooked, a chopping block that's just a food processor with no upgrades & a much less annoying sound, and a bone mortar & pestle that act as a really shitty grinder & beaker. |
the alternative is to haul all your plants to a part of oasis nobody ever goes to, cook stuff with them, then haul all the resulting food to somewhere people will actually see. |
The Eastwood bar's door is now a "secure door", and only Barkeeps spawn with the key. This means that the only way for anyone to actually access the bar - like, say, a Farmer who wants to process the plants they're making into food - is to fire-axe the door down or take apart something else in the way.
