Don't know if it'll be any use to you but MS have open sourced their Node adapter for Visual Studio Code at https://github.com/microsoft/vscode-node-debug.

@adam-moss Thanks! I am a bit busy with the linter ui rewrite these days, but after I'm done, I'll be working on making this package work!

Work on a Node.js debugger has started at AtomDebugger/debugger-node :)
