Is there any way your plugin can respect user choice? Currently OSX has an option for toggling the scrollbar state, this is an accessibility option as much as anything else. Currently your plugin overrides this choice, and hides the scrollbar even if the user has requested it always be shown.
If it were up to me people would stop messing with the scrollbars (it's a browser element, leave it alone!) but unfortunately people do use your plugin, so if there's anything you can do about this it would be amazing.
