Personally, I used this file and a Termux script to recompress and replace downloaded podcasts to a lower VBR bitrate and take up a lot less space. I'd love to be able to do that again, and I'd also like to explore clipping out embedded adverts in a similar fashion. |

Long, long ago, PocketCasts used to maintain an HTML file that indexed all the downloaded podcast files, providing source information and a way to link them to the GUID-named .mp3 (etc.) downloads.
For unspecified reasons, keeping this index was dropped.
It would be especially useful for doing backups and transferring content to another install.
Presumably, this functionality is somewhere in the git history, but perhaps not since it transferred to Github.
