RelayCommand must have public scope

I'm making my first steps with avalonia and implemented a RelayCommand. But at runtime I get this Excpetion:

System.MethodAccessException: Method `BeepItMobile.ViewModels.MainViewModel.ChangeSection()' is inaccessible from method 
`CompiledAvaloniaXaml.XamlIlTrampolines.BeepItMobile:BeepItMobile.ViewModels.MainViewModel+ChangeSection_0!
CommandExecuteTrampoline(object,object)'

This is my ViewModel:

public partial class MainViewModel : ViewModelBase
{
    [RelayCommand]
    private void ChangeSection()
    {
        Debug.Print("aaa");
    }
}

and this is the XAML Code

<Button Grid.Column="0" Classes="mainScreenButton" Command="{Binding ChangeSection}">
                <StackPanel>
                    <Label Classes="icon">&#xe464;</Label>
                    <Label Classes="mainScreenButtonLabel" HorizontalAlignment="Center">Tiles</Label>

</Button>

The strange thing is, it works if I set the ChangeSection() method to public. But this shouldn't be necessary?

Bind to ChangeSectionCommand. This is the actual command generated by toolkit.
