This fixes the "An item with the same key has already been added" exception thrown by ToDictionary, mentioned in #556.
I don't think there is a more elegant solution to this problem, as the "new" keyword is just a compiler hint to indicate that a developer actually intended to hide this member and cannot be read out from the reflected property alone. Also, this solution won't work with higher hierarchies.
