A program has different types. .crc, .hash, .fwl, etc.
You initially get one server when registering. A server specs will include CPU, RAM, HDD, Network, etc. Further in the game if you purchase more servers, the hardware specs will sum to reproduce the server clustering from HEL.
You can only purchase one of these to store programs on which is immune to intrusions or attacks.
An NPC has one server and can be different types. Whois, Bank, Government, NPC, etc.
