Is the totalValue calculated accurate and has it any reference significance? Please answer

The totalValue (and indeed the vertical axis of the histogram) takes the value of the total volume fraction (of the objects within the size range), if:

  1. the scattering length densities provided are correct for the sample you measured, and
  2. the measured intensities have been corrected properly and are scaled to absolute units of 1/(m sr), with q in units of 1/nm.
