Make webpages on gh-pages branch more enduser-focused #2

Most of the webpage for this repo is technical stuff from the repo's README.rd file. We should change the content in the gh-pages branch so it is more enduser-focused.

This would mean that the webpage can become more of a landing page for non-technical folks while the github repo page can be for more technially-savvy folks or those wanting to dig into the LaTeX.
