Is there a way to disable pygments when building the latex file? It's really slow at the moment, making it hard to recompile and see your changes quickly.

I use texstudio, which is ok.

Do you know where the blogcode and \blog|...| commands are defined??

it is define in dfn.tex (through minted) there is no explicit blogcode definition.
