Trigger and Priority by Device Availability

What workfow do you want to improve?

Currently there is no trigger for when a device is added or removed. My most common needs are:

• When my laptop is docked, I want to use the DisplayPort audio.
• When I am undocked, I want to use the built-in audio.
• Whenever docked or undocked, I want to switch to the Bluetooth headphones when they are connected.

How to make it better?

I would like a trigger by device availability, but this trigger should also honor a device priority. In the example above, if I am already using my Bluetooth headphones and dock the laptop, it should stick with headphones even though the DisplayPort audio becomes available.

Any alternative?

Currently I am manually executing keyboard shortcuts when I switch devices.
