where is the splash screen folder

I feel like a rock, for 4 hours i have been losing hair rapidly trying to get this to work and i can't even find the splash screen in the patchers folder, like it just isn't there, someone please make this process clear and moron proof so i can start to regrow a little bit of hair in relief.
