The Flash toolset is really powerful, but some of the .fla files in my assets have low frame rates, so the swfclip in Unity appears to be choppy and discontinuous. Is there any way to approach this from the swf perspective, maybe through interpolation or some other method, to increase the frame rate of a section of animation and optimize the jerky ones? Like turning a 3-second 20-frames animation into a 3-second 40-frame animiation.

This is theoretically possible! (If you use motion tweens in animation, of course). But now, unfortunately, I have no plans and time for new features in this project :-(

That's really a pity. This project is really excellent. It would be greater if some new features could be added. Okay, I will try using Adobe Animate to manually increase the frame rate of the animation. Thanks very much for your prompt reply!
