Allow input_select helpers as buttons

Detailed Description

I set "scenes" by using an input select which runs a script depending upon which item is selected.

What I'd like to be able to do is to have a button on the buttons pages that when pressed brings up a list of the available selections, and sets the selection value to the item selected.

Does this make sense?

I think the other have have a bit more details, so it make sense to concentrate any discussion around this in that one, so, if you close this one, please add your use case on that other.

Unfortunately we are very limited in resources... Since a while I'm the only one with some time available to out in the project, but the backlog is way beyond my capability, specially when changes to UI are needed, as this is not my comfortable zone.
But I will take a look at this... Quite a lot of people is asking for, and it will help with preset modes on climate and lights.
