Describe the bug
When just hitting the "Send Note" button without entering any message, I get a backtrace in the browser (see screenshot below).

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behaviour:

Navigate to e.g. https://saythanks.io/to/spookyahell
Click on "Send Note"
See a traceback

Expected behaviour
Some error feedback and no crash
