subtitles/closed caption

Hi,

Thank you for the htsp plugin - it work much nicer than http with tvheadend. However, I can't make the subtitles work. I can select tracks from the pull down menu, but nothing appears. It works fine using http. So is the feature not (yet?) implemented, a bug or limitiation somwhere?

Subtitle streams are forwared to vlc, there isn't much more I could do with them.

I came across the same problem.
In addition to the subtitles working in vlc with http-stream, the htsp stream subtitles work in Kodi. So it seems there's either something off with the plugin, or the way vlc handles such data from plugins.

I'm not sure if it's of any help, but I noticed that something relevant to subtitles was added to htsp protocol on version 20 ( https://tvheadend.org/projects/tvheadend/wiki/Htsp/158 ), but this plugin advertises it supports only 19 ( https://github.com/BtbN/vlc-htsp-plugin/blob/master/helper.h#L34 ).
