Before you asking

  • I have searched the existing issues
  • I spend at least 5 minutes for thinking and preparing
  • I have thoroughly and completely read the wiki.
  • I have carefully checked the issue, and it is unrelated to the network environment.

Environment

- OS: windows
- Python: 3.12.9
- pdf2zh: 1.9.1

Describe the bug

I have two PDF files like the ones mentioned, but for some reason, only these files cannot be translated, possibly due to the font. Other files work fine. In this case, what steps should I take to overcome this issue and successfully translate the files? I would appreciate your help.

You can wait for kind-hearted people to help with: #678. This issue occurs during font subsetting, skipping this step should improve it.

In addition, you can also try the new backend BabelDOC, and the --enhance-compatibility option of the new backend.
