When debugging I often seem to accidentally launch scc-daemon and sc-controller multiple times, and then be surprised why they fight and steal input from each other.
I don't think there is a reason to allow having multiple of them run, at least not with zero detection capabilities, so consider either hard blocking it or at least warn the user when it happens.
