Some researchers have expressed confusion about the 'Published' field in Dash, which seems to display the year the data record was added to Dash. This causes confusion for data that may have been previously published, or among users who believe the field to refer to the publication date of an associated publication.
Is it possible to change 'Published' to 'Deposited' or similar, so it's more clear that it is the date the data was added to Dash?

This is the "PublicationYear" field in the Datacite metadata. We've gotten some legacy datasets that were made public prior to submission to Dash. Although in most cases this will be when the dataset was added to Dash, it isn't necessarily always the case.
Then would it be possible to make the 'PublicationYear' field edit-able? We also have legacy datasets to submit that had a publication date prior to Dash submission.
