Description

Successful deployment of augmented reality into surgery depends on visualisation methods that can accurately convey essential information without distracting the surgeon. We have developed SciKit-SurgeryVTK to provide visualisation for our research and teaching in augmented reality surgery. SciKit-SurgeryVTK is open source software and is being adopted by other research groups.

• Experiment with different ways to move the model and change the opacity.
• Change the visualisation of the windows (frames, representations, etc).
• Fork https://github.com/SciKit-Surgery/scikit-surgeryvtk and https://github.com/SciKit-Surgery/CMICHACKS and submit different visualisation methods to improve outline rendering and depth fogging.​
