The inability to enter steam on the Russian virtual keyboard layout in desktop mode

Hello, I have a problem with inputting characters using the virtual keyboard in Steam on the desktop in Russian. When the English layout is enabled, characters are entered correctly in all programs. However, when I switch to the Russian layout, spaces are entered instead of characters in system programs. Text is input correctly in Google Chrome, but, for example, in Telegram, pressing any key results in spaces. I think this might be an input issue in the Wayland session. However, the same thing happens in gamemod when launching the desktop through NestedDeskstop . bat.

I also tried using the Steam virtual menu in desktop mode, but it simply doesn’t show up. However, it works perfectly in game mode
