The new PR #2680 add a new mode to have WMS not as one big group but explode with sub layers like esri dynamic. When WMS as sub layers, the Layers panel takes several seconds to display. There is something hanging the UI, investigate....

In layer.ts: DEBUG_WMS_LAYER_GROUP_FULL_SUB_LAYERS
