CasparCG Client is an open source project that is part of the overall CasparCG open source project. It's a client software developed for Windows/Mac/Linux. CasparCG Client is primarily used with the CasparCG Server software for audio and video playout, and to control graphics and recording, but it can also be used for other tasks within television broadcast.
## What Is CasparCG Client For? CasparCG Client is used to create rundown schemes for broadcast productions. Used together with the CasparCG Server as intended, it provides a seamless and smooth way to play out audio, video and dynamic graphics.CasparCG Client can also be used to control ATEM Live Production Switchers and some TriCasters, without any requirements to use the CasparCG Server.
