When a SED is extracted, sometimes the MB and plotter don't update correctly, and are left empty. This seems to only occur when I sort another column first, then extract the highlighted points to a new SED.

Example:

  • load PKS 1127-14 dataset (multi-segment SED)
  • open the MB and select points with reported uncertainties
  • sort one of the columns that's NOT "Spectral_Value". Select a number of rows.
  • extract highlighted points to a new SED

The data show up again if you switch between SEDs in the SED Builder (i.e., switch to another SED and go back to the extracted SED).

And apparently this can also happen when you select points via a filter expression. I think this still needs some investigation...

I can't reproduce this issue either using the current master branch (commit 69cf485fb). There is a chance the issue was fixed in ChandraCXC/iris#345. @jbudynk could you check that? I'll also make some tests on OSX.
