Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.
I want to make a suggestion for helping users gain staging within presets. (So using the clean gain module instead of using the input and output gain in the top menu.) This matters because for live use I want to level match the presets to be able to switch presets without needing to readjust the in/out gain live. The clean gain module specifically often does not go low (or high) enough to level match so I currently chain many of them as a fix. But the workflow of having to stack and tweak each of them feels a bit awkward.

Describe the solution you'd like

Solution 1: Add more range options (Eg using the same style of option menu as the delay module), including e.g ´- infinity to 0db’ to the clean gain module. (Being able to go as far down as needed rather than having a set lower db limit might help in a lot of situations.)

Solution 2: Add the option to save the top menu input and output gain settings as part of presets.

Additional context
BYOD is so so much fun. Thank you for this outstanding open work!

Thanks for the detailed feature request!

I think Solution 1 is probably the most natural solution, and that should be fairly easy to implement as well, so I'll get that started soon.

Solution 2 is also interesting though, because I could see other instances where someone might want to save some of the other global parameters as part of their preset as well (e.g. left vs. right input and oversampling factor). I'll have to think a little bit more about that one, but that could be cool to have as well.

Hey, sorry it's taken me a minute to get back to this! With #215 it should now be possible to "extend" the range of the clean gain module using the option in the "Settings" menu. If you'd like, you can give this a try in the latest Nightly Build.
