No display with Rift S [Arch]

Hello. I have an Oculus Rift S. Whenever I run it, the vrcomposer opens up on my monitor, but when I put on the headset there is no output display. Head movement registers on the screen, but I can't actually see through the lenses. I cannot turn on direct view as the SteamVR box isn't visible for one reason or another. Along with this my controllers show up in the complete wrong spot and my head is in the ground.
