First of all thanks for using the tool and contacting us :)

Your suggestion is very interesting, even necessary somehow, the current mechanism of encryption and decryption based on the hosting of ASP.NET in runtime is not entirely comfortable during development.

We have several ideas, such as creating a vsix package to allow it to be done through the VS interface, and the one you comment would also be of great value.

Unfortunately at this moment we cannot prioritize this request so there would not be a date on it, however the project is 100% Open source and therefore fully open to receive proposals in the form of PR in case of requiring it with greater priority.
