Anyone got an old version of the plugin that'll work with xc v1.06?

Not sure what is XC, older versions of plugin can be found in releases section but I doubt that older version of plug-in will solve your issue, you might need an older Plex app because Plex retired support for plug-ins and current Plex apps do not show any plug-ins at all.
