Could this be as simple as plugging a power bank into the esp32 usb port? Or would that potentially cause problems with the esp getting two sources of power? |

Can anyone share advise on if it is possible to add a battery backup? My justification is that I live in a rural area with unreliable power, so I have a standby generator. My home assistant server has a UPS that will let it stay up for as long as it takes to start the generator, about 45 seconds.
In the event of a power outage, it would be nice to have the loss of voltage logged and fed into home assistant, and have this device stay up while the generator is starting.
