Wanted to add a prayerbook that I forgot to collect before starting NG+.

Added the prayerbook using the editor, then saved as ER0000.sl2, using Windows Explorer to directly overwrite the existing save file.

Upon the next load, I was spawned underneath terrain before falling to my death. Many items were missing from inventory, but I could not discern a pattern to it.

Luckily had a backup of the original save.

Thought it might have been an issue with adding the prayerbook, but further testing reveals that it works fine as long as the modified save is saved under a new filename, then deleting the old save and renaming the newly generated modified save to ER0000.sl2

I have the same issue. It seems to appear when i add items using the bulk function.

This always happens to me, replacing the file or not doesn't matter, though I've not noticed any missing items.
