Clinical trial data have been analyzed by intent-to-treat (ITT), as-treated (AT), and modified as-treated or actual treatment (mAT) methodologies. ITT is based on assigned primary randomization only, AT considers actual treatment at the time of procedure, and mAT also includes known treatments that occurred subsequent to the procedure, e.g., during a reintervention in the control group.
