For at least a year now, I occasionally discover commander-legal cards missing from the card list when filtering by "Format" -> "AND" -> "commander" (and "legacy" as well, it seems)

For example: Raging River is a card legal in both legacy and commander but you may notice that when you apply a filter that restricts the cards displayed to legacy-legal or commander-legal, the card disappears from the card list. I know this is a random and specific card but I have discovered others in the past as well though unfortunately I am not able to find/recall other specific examples.

I don't know anything about the code for Cockatrice but I hope this may be a relatively easy issue to fix. As a big fan of the platform, I would love to see it free of this issue at last 😊

other cards I found that would not appear
counterspell
dark ritual
demonic tutor
drain life
raging river
sol ring
swords to plowshares

it looks like from some older sets (Alpha, Beta, Revised), every card was tagged as not commander-legal (except for shivan dragon and weakness). Feel free to apply the AND filter to the set "LEA" and then "AND" "Set" Commander, and watch all the cards disappear.

the reason this issue is so annoying and important to me is that when deckbuilding, the commander filter removes things like tokens, illegal un-cards, online-only cards, cads from unique game modes like Archenemy, and of course, cards that are on the Commander banlist. I love to brew within the program and would love to see the filter function properly one day. I believe this issue may have been around for years now if I am not mistaken, definitely at least one or two.

Maybe related to #4783?

Did you look into the cards.xml database which data is available for the cards in question?

Make sure to run the oracle updater before first.
